What is a Ductless Mini-Split System?

Mini split air conditioner and heating systems contain two main parts: an indoor air-handling unit and an outdoor compressor/condenser. Instead of adding on to your home’s existing ductwork, you can provide heating and cooling to the spaces where you need it or want it. Mini splits are great options for home add-ons or renovations that lack existing ductwork and rooms you want more control over the temperature.

Ductless Mini-Split Installation

Rather than extending the home’s existing ductwork, or adding electric resistance

heaters, you can provide direct heating and/or cooling to the spaces where you need it

most. Daikin single and multi-zone systems have just two primary components and no

ductwork, which means installations, can often occur in a single day. The indoor unit is

typically mounted on a centrally-located wall within your home that easily connects to an

outdoor unit.
